Television that steals thy soul
The Fall television seasons are coming into season anything good on?
Have a television show you've always loved? Come spill your fanboy guts out over it here. You know you want to. =D
Mine is filled with anime flowery goodness. >> Don't know if you'd be interested.

I love Community/30 Rock/Office back to back line up . And Fringe is fucking great. Boardwalk Empire is new and great. Dexter is THE BEST.

I don't really follow television too much. I just sort of follow a series at my own pace on the internet. But I've just started Kino no tabi and that's turned out to be a pretty good anime so far.

I've heard of it but never really gotten too into it. When you say fanservice just who heavy are you talking? Like just normal fanservice or more of an etchi anime?delacroix3227 wrote:

Eh for it it'd be more ecchi....it doesn't bother me cause I'm there for the zombie and killing stuff, but theres all engorged tities everywhere and pantie shots galore.

Y'know, I've found, for me atleast, that anime movies are usually much better than anime shows. Don't know why but yeah.

Probably because they don't have to stress themselves out to full out a story and characters. The movies get it done and have to get it done in a short period time so they have generally no filler.

That's can be true, but many times it seems like it would be the other way around. Tv shows last longer and so it allows for more time for characterization and audience-character connections.
But Yeah, i do agree that movies don't have to deal with all that filler crap. Then again, some filler episodes are just great.

Some can be in moderation but like what happened to Naruto...that's what offput me to it. So much filler. Bleach too.

Yeah, I could never get into either of those shows. Long animes in general put me off. I stick to ones that are only one or two seasons long. They aren't cash cows and they stay true to the original story.

Finally! Manga is within my reach again!
Though, unfortunately it seems like a lot of these are sort of poorly done fan translations. :/
