It is my understanding that, currently, at the Halloween Update, we WILL be releasing this server to the public. With a whitelist.

Anyways, some concerns.

First of all, it's lonely as-is and I think we should have a larger community during Halloween, not on the days after.

Secondly, whitelisting: I don't think this server has a whitelist function. I just wanted to make sure that guests can't see the server IP. But also, anyone can register and see it.

Thirdly, zones. Does the server have capabilities for zones? I.E. only mods+ can build in spawnton?

This post has nothing to do with the topic but after reading this http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Lantern I became very happy.

Cool. W3ST - what do you think about releasing the server to bigger forums like Minecraft Forums sooner?

thats the next step after ive properly sorted out kits and stuff i guess.
although i also still need to sort out a fixed ip or whatever its called
